Marvel Studios unleashed a giant avalanche of announcements at Disney's Investor Day presentation. The studio's head Kevin Feige shared the different plans for shows on Disney+ and its upcoming films for what is considered Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While 2020 marks the first year Marvel Studios hasn't released anything since 2009, it will hit the ground running 2021 with WandaVision arriving on Disney+ on January 15. It'll be followed by the much-anticipated Falcon & the Winter Soldier dropping on March 19 after delays caused by COVID-19. You can see the trailer for that above and a new trailer for WandaVision below.

Loki will also be coming shortly to Disney+ in May 2021. Of course, Marvel also shares its first exclusive look at the new show.

Feige noted how its films and TV shows would be intertwined. Ms. Marvel, which stars Iman Vellani as the New Jersey teenager Kamala Khan, will also play the character in Captain Marvel II alongside Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris. Parris plays the adult version of Monica Rambeau, who will also appear in WandaVision.

She-Hulk, starring Regina-native Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, will have Mark Ruffalo reprise his role as Bruce Banner/Hulk. Tim Roth will also be making a comeback in the MCU as the villain Abomination.

There are other Disney+ shows in the works, making sure fans get a taste of the MCU year-round. These include Secret Invasion starring Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn; Ironheart starring Dominique Thorne; and Armor Wars, with War Machine actor Don Cheadle.

On the film side, Feige officially revealed the often-rumoured The Fantastic Four movie, directed by filmmaker Jon Watts. He's been in charge of the current Spider-Man trilogy.

Feige also paid tribute to late Black Panther lead Chadwick Boseman. He confirmed that the studio would not recast his role for Black Panther II, set to come out in July 2022.

The third Ant-Man movie will be called Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, with Kathryn Newton starring as Scott Lang's daughter Cassie. Jonathan Majors will play villain Kang the Conqueror in this film.

Christian Bale will be joining the MCU as the villain Gorr the God Butcher for Thor: Love and Thunder.

As for films already scheduled for release, fans can look forward to Black Widow coming out in movie theatres on May 7, Shang-Chi and the Legend on July 9, and Eternals on November 4.

It isn't known if Marvel will try and release any of their other films directly to Disney+, as Disney did with Mulan. And it's a move Warner Bros. is adopting for its upcoming slate. If they do, we're sure to hear more about it.
