If you're an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, then there are some freebies heading your way. Microsoft is offering free downloadable content (DLC) alongside other in-game perks for the service's subscribers. Microsoft claims users will "regularly" receive freebies.
The first four games getting "Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks" are Phantasy Star Online 2, Sea of Thieves, Smite, and World of Taks: Mercenaries.
Phantasy Star Online 2 will offer "special content bundle" that includes “unique emotes, in-game cosmetics including an Xbox jacket, a gold ticket Mission Pass, and in-game currency with a Meseta Crystal.” These perks are limited to users in Canada and the US.
Sea of Thieves will give "free Ori-inspired Ancestral Sails, Figurehead, Hull, and Flag to adorn your ship."
Smite's bundle "unlocks five Gods, special character skins, and voice packs" so that players can "ride into battle of the Gods in style."
World of Tanks: Mercenaries will offer players "three powerful tanks and more."
Players don't need to do anythng from their end. All you have to do is maintain an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. An Xbox Game Pass Ultimate pass costs $16.99 a month in Canada. It includes Xbox Game Pass for the console and PC as well as Xbox Live Gold subscription for the Xbox One. New subscribers just need to pay $1 for the first month.
Microsoft says future perks will be announced when new Game Pass titles will come out.
