It's popularly known as the school that discovered insulin, stem cells, and home of where the first single and double lung transplants happened in the world. 

The university was recently ranked the 4th in the world and first in Canada for clinical medicine, surgery, and oncology by the US News and World Report 2019. If you want to enroll as a student, you will add courses and pay tuition fees (starting at $25,061) by your division's due dates. You may be able to defer your payment if you're expecting financial aid or other assistance to come in. 

There's also the option of arranging to pay by installment but you will be given a service charge. If you're planning to live on campus and/or have a meal plan, you'll also need to pay for these over multiple installments. But you always have the option to have an alternate payment plan as well. 

3. University of British Columbia

At the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine in Vancouver, you'd be among the 17 other medical schools in Canada but the only one located within the British Columbia province.

It's home to Canada's second-largest undergraduate medical education program and the 5th largest in both the U.S and Canada. The University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine was ranked as the 2nd best medical school in Canada by Maclean's and the 27th around the world by the 2017 QS World University Rankings

Tuition starts at $17,407 with an application fee of $117. 

4. McGill University

The university receives up to 10 times as many applicants as there are available places. The Doctor of Medicine program receives over 2000 applications each year. Only 450 applicants get invited to interview for 171 spots (38 Windsor campus and 133 London campus).
