Seattle-based gaming convention PAX West follows the lead of other major gaming events and opts to cancel this year's in-person convention. In its place, PAX Online will be a free nine-day event happening from September 12 to 20. PAX Online is a collaboration between PAX West, PAX Australia, and the UK's EGX, which will be a "24/9" event as they call it. PAX Australia and EGX have also cancelled their respective in-person conventions.

There will be three streaming running non-stop and simultaneously throughout the event. There will be esports tournaments, and you'll get the chance to download game demos to try at home. You can also expect concerts, panels, and other "new and exciting stuff."
