LG updates some of its smart home appliances to help improve your experience in the kitchen. Its new InstaView Range adds an Air Sous Vide mode, while its new InstaView Refrigerator gets voice recognition. Both pretty handy features.

The InstaView Range comes with a 6.3 cu. ft. capacity and offers Air Fry and ProBake Convection modes on top of Air Sous Vide. In that new mode, it can maintain temperatures between 100 to 205 degrees Fahrenheit (38 to 96 degrees Celsius) for up to 48 hours without water to deliver consistent results. If you were considering getting sous vide machine, you no longer need to with this appliance.

Since it's an InstaView product, you can just knock twice on the glass door to automatically turn on the interior light and visually check on what you're cooking. It also has LED-illuminated knobs and EasyClean tech for no-fuss cleaning. Its dual 22k BTU burner promises to achieve high heat quickly or a low temp for a "true simmer."

Of course, it works with LG's ThinQ app connected to the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. For easy-to-follow recipe ideas, LG partnered with SideChef, Innit, Drop, and Tovala. And if you want to heat frozen meals from brands like Nestlé and Kraft Heinz, you just need to scan a barcode with Scan to Cook.

As for LG's new InstaView Refrigerator, its most noteworthy feature is its voice recognition support. You no longer have to struggle with opening the fridge's door when your hands are full because you can just speak voice commands like "Open the refrigerator door." You can also use this voice tech to do a quick check of your day's events or the ice and water dispensers' status.

With support for Amazon Dash Replenishment, this new model can allow you to order replacement water filters automatically by linking your Amazon account with the LG ThinQ app.

This side-by-side InstaView Door-in-Door refrigerator has a 23% larger glass panel to make it easier to peek at what's in your fridge. It also illuminates the inside if you knock on the glass panel twice.

And since we're living in the age of COVID-19, it makes sense that LG brings its UVnano technology to its water dispenser, making sure that the lass of water you drink is clean and germ-free.

LG hasn't revealed availability or pricing yet, but we'll make sure to update when that information surfaces.
