When the company announced its earnings in the fourth quarter of 2020, the company also revealed its plans to roll out its "Shuffle Play" feature worldwide in the first half of this year. The function gives you the option to turn over to its algorithm the choice of what you're going to watch next. You might have already seen the feature as the "Play Something" option underneath profiles in the login screen.

Netflix introduced this feature for its viewers who aren't sure what they want to watch. If you tap on the button, it'll play content with another pop-up button that says "Play Something Else" so you can jump to the next show or film. The feature relies on the shows and movies you've watched when it suggests new titles to check out. It certainly one way to expand your viewing experience on the platform.

The streaming service closed 2020 with a bang as it topped 200 million subscribers globally, and it believes it won't need external financing for its day-to-day business anymore.
