TikTok's newest feature wants to help out its popular creators respond to questions from its fans. Social media consultant Matt Navara first spotted the new Q&A feature available initially to public creator accounts with over 10,000 followers. If you're one of these creators, you can opt-in via the app's settings menu.

When you decide to test the feature, followers will see two new icons that will let them submit questions through your profile page or in the comment section of videos you post. You can then respond either via video or text. It works with TikTok's live streaming feature, Live, too. What's notable about Q&A is it compiles all the questions that fans sent through one part of the app's interface.

It seems inevitable that TikTok introduces its take on Q&As since many of its users will go out of the way to create detailed responses to their followers' questions. It is also an integral part of social media platforms. TikTok plans to bring the feature to more creators in the coming weeks.
