Palm's newest product isn't another tiny companion device for your smartphone. This time, the company is releasing a pair of true wireless earbuds designed by former designers from Beats By Dre and Samsung. According to Palm, it researched what features consumers wanted from wireless earbuds to create the Palm Buds Pro.

The earbuds feature active noise cancellation, bass-heavy audio with 10mm dynamic drivers, and a six-microphone array to help rid background noise while on calls. These earbuds also get an Ambient Mode that lets you hear both the audio you're playing and the sound from those around you.

Battery life is up to 5.5 hours without ANC enabled. It'll take out an hour if you use ANC. The Palm Buds Pro are expected to last for three hours of talk time. They come with a charging case with a 400mAh battery, giving over 24 hours of use before you need to recharge the case.

The Palm Buds Pro also support fast pairing and syncing with devices, Siri and Google Assistant support, IPX4 sweat and water resistance, and three tips to help you get the best fit.

Pre-orders are now open in Canada, the US, and Mexico on Palm's site. The earbuds retail for US$129, but those who pre-order now until November 9 get a US$30 discount. The Palm Buds Pro come in Shadow Black. And you can get a silicone case accessory in the same shade or Rose Pink or Navy Blue. The case costs $25, but you can get it for $15 during the pre-order period.
