The National Basketball Association has partnered again with Microsoft Canada for the second "NBA Creators presented by Microsoft" program. This design-focused initiative wants to increase the exposure of different Canadian artists. Illustrators and graphic designers in Canada who identify as Black, Indigenous, Asian, Hispanic, or Latinx can apply to the program by visiting NBA.com/Creators

A selection committee comprising representatives from the NBA, Microsoft Canada, OCAD University, and the Canadian Black Standard will pick the five winning applicants. Applications must be submitted by November 29 at 9 AM ET, and those who win will be contacted by December 17. The winning artists will be commissioned to create works for NBA's social media channels. They will receive Microsoft devices and accessories to create designs for the NBA's 75th Anniversary Season this 2021-2022.

Last season, they designed graphics on the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 and Surface Studio with the Surface Pen, which were featured in league promotional assets during the 2021 NBA Playoffs and Finals.
