Amazon has reported that it rolled out an update for its Appstore, which supposedly fixes the issue that Android 12 users have been having for over a month. Android users who downloaded the latest version of the operating system found the Amazon Appstore wasn't working correctly. The problem is likely caused by the lack of compatibility between Amazon's built-in DRM and the mobile OS.

An Amazon staff noted on the Amazon support forum that the technical team had already resolved the issue. And that you can download the update from Amazon's website. After installing the update, you need to sign out and sign in to the Appstore. And then, you need to update apps you've downloaded from the Appstore.

The fix doesn't seem to have worked for everyone, though. The Verge reported that some users on the forum claim they are still experiencing issues with the update.
