The current crop of true wireless earbuds isn't designed to blend into your skin. Many are in black or white colours, and some are in brighter shades. But if you want a pair of buds that can flatter your skin tone, JLab has partnered with nail care brand ORLY for earbuds that come in colours that are "flattering for people across a spectrum of skin tones" with the aptly named Go Air Tones.
The audio company and ORLY selected the seven Pantone colours from an original collection of over 60 shades. They used ORLY's expertise in creating nude nail polishes to produce seven options that "encompassed a variety of skin tones with a mix of warm, neutral and cool undertones."
The shades might not be a perfect match, but JLab guarantees the colour will flatter its wearer. And if you can't decide what to get, JLab has an AR fitting room for virtual try-on.
The Go Air Tones are basically the US$20 Go Air Pop (around CA$26 converted) introduced in August. So, you get features like onboard touch controls, EQ presets, IPX4 protection, and a case with a built-in USB cable for charging. The Go Air Tones earbuds promise up to eight hours of use, plus three additional charges from the case.
The Go Air Tones are available for pre-order now in some markets, with shipping expected in mid-January.
