Apple has reportedly tapped LG Display to develop a display panel for the rumoured foldable iPhone. According to DigiTimes, LG Display will help Apple develop the foldable OLED panel needed for this new device. But it isn't known if the company will supply Apple with the screens for mass production.
Samsung has also been attached to this project, with rumours that the competing Korean company already supplied Apple with various foldable display samples last year.
Apple has used both Samsung and LG OLED display for its iPhones, so it's not entirely impossible for the US company to tap both suppliers.
