One of the other new Pokémon titles you can expect for the Nintendo Switch focuses on what its developers call a "pre-make," or a period before all the other Pokémon games. Pokémon Legends: Arceus expands on the games' long-running RPG formula that offers "a new challenge and a new frontier for the Pokémon world."
Like the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes, Arceus takes place in the Sinnoh region. Players will encounter iconic monsters like Piplup and get starter Pokémon like Rowlet, Oshawott, and Cyndaquil. You can watch the game's trailer above. It'll be launching on the Nintendo Switch worldwide in early 2022.
