Twitter's audio chat feature and its answer to the popular and exclusive chat app Clubhouse might be coming to all users soon. The company said it plans to make Twitter Spaces available for all users by April. It is not a set release date, though, but it's the timeframe Twitter hopes to have the feature in all of its users' hands.

Some of the ways Twitter plans to distinguish Spaces is through offering downloadable audio and transcripts from the feature. It will allow content creators to repurpose audio from the feature for other platforms or even give other Twitter users a chance to listen to a live audio chat they've missed.

App researcher Jane Manchun Wong discovered a Tip Jar option associated with Spaces. It would provide a Spaces host or speaker a way to garner tips from their Spaces sessions. Users can attach their PayPal, Venmo, Patreon, Bandcamp, or Cash App to allow for tipping.
