A new partnership between Fitbit and Tile will now let users of the Fitbit Inspire 2 find their wearable if it gets misplaced. According to the companies' statement, the free update rollout started on Monday. To gain access to this feature, you'll need to update your Inspire 2's software via the Fitbit app. This update will bring Bluetooth tracking. You will then have to download and activate the Tile app. Once that is enabled, you can then find your misplaced wearable using its most recent location or via Tile's global crowdsourced network. You can also then use your Inspire 2 to ring your phone, even when it's silent.

Fitbit Inspire 2 users can also sign up for Tile Premium to receive Smart Alerts and other premium content for US$2.99 (CA$3.75) per month or US$29.99 (CA$37.61) annually. Smart Alerts can proactively notify you if you're about to leave your Inspire 2 behind when you're leaving your house.

To clarify, the Fitbit Inspire 2 tracking with Tile is free for all the wearable's users. The Tile Premium will only add additional features like Smart Alerts. We will update when we here if that option is available in Canada as well.
