Apple has collaborated with Warner Music to launch a new special playlist on Apple Music to help young ones with speech-sound disorders. The Saylists was created using algorithms that identify songs that repeat sounds. Children who have speech-sound disorders can be assisted using some therapeutic strategies. One of these is repeating sounds like "ch," "s," and "z."
Saylists has 173 English songs so far, including Dua Lipa's Don't Start Now, Lizzo's Good As Hell, and Fatboy Slim's Right Here, Right Now. There are 10 different playlists available that frequently repeat these sounds: "ch," "d," "f," "g," "k," "l," "r," "s," "t," and "z." All Apple Music subscribers have access to the playlists; you just need to search for "Saylists" on the app to find them.
According to speech-and-language therapist Anna Biavati-Smith, who worked with Warner Music and Rothco on the project, "Saylists provide a fun new way to practise the sounds I teach children, without feeling pressured or getting bored."
