Samsung has just unveiled its new line of Galaxy Book laptops built to combine the power of a PC with the mobile DNA of its Galaxy smartphones to provide you with a machine that can handle your work and play with the same ease as your mobile devices. The company continues its collaboration with Microsoft and Intel to build these laptops with the goal of approaching mobile computing where "PCs, Galaxy, and IoT devices work together with seamless continuity."
The 2021 Galaxy Book machines are the company's lightest laptops yet, with Galaxy Book weighing 1,610g and measuring 15.4mm, Galaxy Book Pro weighing 870g and measuring 11.2mm, and Galaxy Book Pro 360 weighing 1,063g and measuring 11.5mm. The Galaxy Book Pro 360 comes built with the same 6000-series aluminum alloy used by leading aerospace manufacturers worldwide.
Despite the thin profile, Samsung promises long battery life for these new laptops with support for 65W fast-charging via a USB-C adapter.
Speaking of speed, these Galaxy Books support Wi-Fi 6E. And the flagship Galaxy Book Pro 360 even supports 5G.
Samsung brings its Super AMOLED display for the first time to the Galaxy Book series through the Galaxy Book Pro 360. The Galaxy Book Pro comes with an AMOLED display, while the Galaxy Book has an LCD screen. The Galaxy Book Pros come with 13.3- or 15.6-inch screen options, while the Galaxy Book has a 15.6-inch display.

The two Pro laptops get Intelligent Color Engine, which automatically fine-tunes colour depending on the task at hand. They also support DCI-P3 or AMOLED Native colour profiles and are SGS Eye-Care certified.
All three 2021 Galaxy Book laptops are powered by next-generation hardware, including an 11th Gen Intel Core processor and Intel Iris Xe graphics. The Galaxy Book Pro and Pro 360 are also certified on the Intel Evo platform.
Samsung reengineered the Pro Keyboard for better speed and comfort when typing and increased the touchpad's size, too.
With Studio Mode, you can create ideal video call environments that help you look your best. Paired with Intelligent Noise Cancelling, it eliminates ambient noise from your microphone so you will be seen and heard with clarity. Samsung also offers Screen Recorder and Samsung Studio Plus to record your screen in combination with your voice and then polish your videos afterward with easy editing tools.
The Galaxy Book Pro 360 supports an updated and thicker S Pen, which the company will ship with the laptop.

Samsung wants these laptops to be at the centre of your mobile ecosystem. They will allow users to use Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ devices as second screens, and they will also work with Link to Windows and Microsoft Your Phone. The Super Slow-Mo and Single Take content you've taken on your Galaxy phone will show up in the same format on these laptops.
Samsung is also making it easy to connect your Galaxy Buds with your Galaxy Book. These laptops also get Quick Share and the Galaxy Book Smart Switch app for those who want to import their files from another Windows PC into this Galaxy device. And for those who wish to bring their smart home hub to these laptops, that's possible with SmartThings support. These Galaxy Books also support SmarThings Find.
The Galaxy Book, Book Pro, and Pro 360 will be available for pre-order starting today, April 28, 2021, and for purchase starting May 14, 2021, online at Samsung.com/ca, at Samsung Experience Stores, and major carriers and retail partners across Canada. - Galaxy Book will be available in Mystic Silver starting at $859.00 (our regular price) in 15.6-inches with an Intel Core i3 processor.
- Galaxy Book Pro will be available in Mystic Silver and Mystic Blue starting at $1,469.99 (our regular price) in 13.3-inches with an Intel Core i5. Galaxy Book Pro also comes in 15.6-inches for $1,599.99 (our regular price) with an Intel Core i5 processor.
- Galaxy Book Pro 360 is available in Mystic Silver and Mystic Navy starting at $1,599.99 (regular price) in 13.3-inches with an Intel Core i5. Galaxy Book Pro 360 also comes in 15.6-inches with an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, starting at $1,729.99.
