Google hasn't completely forgotten its tablets. The company is introducing a new Entertainment Space on Android tablets. And if it seems familiar to you, it's because Google drew inspiration from Android TV's development. The launcher companion has three tabs: Watch, Games, and Read. The aim of Entertainment Space is for it to serve as a sort of one-stop-shop for all your media.

The Watch tab will look similar to Google TV with the row of recommended shows and films at the top and then more content rows underneath it. The Games tab has all the games on your device as well as recommendations from Google. It isn't known if there will be Stadia integration. The Read tab pulls from Google Play Books, and it includes quick-resume buttons for books you're reading and recommendations underneath that for different categories taken from Google Play. It isn't known if it can pull from apps like Kindle.

This new experience is expected to roll out in the coming weeks. According to Google, it'll come to Walmart's Onn tablets starting this month and Android tablets from brands like Lenovo and Sharp. Google can't confirm if Samsung tablets will get the feature.
