Microsoft joined other retailers in offering an expanded refund policy for Cyberpunk 2077 because of its buggy release in December. The company allowed those who bought the game from the Microsoft Store to get a full refund. But now, Microsoft plans to place the game under its standard digital refund policy beginning July 6. That means when you buy the game, your sale is final, but you can apply for a refund, which Microsoft might grant you in some circumstances.

According to Microsoft's support page, "The team at CD PROJEKT RED continues to work hard to improve the experience of Cyberpunk 2077 for Xbox players and has made a number of updates. Given these updates, Microsoft will be returning to our standard digital game refund policy for Cyberpunk 2077 on July 6 for both new and existing purchases."

The game has also been reinstated recently on the PlayStation Store, following two major patches released by the developer. There are still some issues with the PS4 and Xbox One versions, so best be aware of that.
