Microsoft dubs it the "most powerful Surface" it has ever built. The new Surface Laptop Studio is designed using the innovations the company has developed throughout the years. The Surface Laptop Studio is built for developers, designers, creative professionals and gamers. The idea behind it involves bringing the power of a desktop, the portability of a laptop, and a creative studio all in one. It comes with a new "ultra-durable" Dynamic Woven Hinge to let you transition easily from the different modes.

There's the Laptop mode, where you can enjoy typing on the full keyboard and using the Precision Haptic touchpad. There's also Stage mode, where the 14.4-inch PixelSense touchscreen is pulled forward, which works for gaming, streaming, docking, or presenting to clients. You can interact with the screen using the Surface Slim Pen 2, the touchscreen, or the touchpad. And then there's Studio mode, where you can use it as a canvas for writing, sketching, or other creative activities.

The Surface Laptop Studio runs on an 11th-gen Intel Core H35 processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU, and, of course, the new Windows 11 operating system. Its starting price is US$1,599.99 (around CA$2,029 converted), with pre-orders for select markets starting today.
