OnePlus used CES to tease the launch of its newest flagship, but now, it has officially unveiled the OnePlus 10 Pro in China, with a global release expected later in 2022. Many of this phone's specs have already been revealed before the launch. But let's now take a look at the complete and official specs list.
It comes with a 6.7-inch 120Hz LTPO display, which allows it to dynamically change the refresh rate between 1 and 120Hz depending on what's on the screen. It runs on Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It also has a large 5,000mAh battery paired with OPPO's SuperVOOC 80W fast-charging—which lets you fast-charge from 0-100% in 32 minutes—and 50W wireless charging with reverse wireless charging support.
Of course, one of the more noteworthy features of the new phone will be its camera setup. OnePlus continues its partnership with Hasselblad with the OnePlus 10 Pro; the company calls it the "second-generation Hasselblad Camera for Mobile" with additional calibration from the Swedish camera maker. It has a triple camera setup at the back with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 50-megapixel 150-degree ultra-wide lens, and 8-megapixel telephoto zoom lens. The front houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
What's new for the cameras is you can use the new Hasselblad Pro Mode to take 12-bit RAW photos using all three rear camera lenses. You can also shoot a full 10-bit colour video with all the lenses, meaning there's a 25% increase in DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. The phone also gets a new RAW+ mode, offering improved dynamic range and greater noise reduction thanks to a better computational photography model.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is also the first OnePlus phone to get a dedicated Movie Mode, offering full manual controls for ISO levels, shutter speed, and white balance while recording. It also has recording in the LOG format for the first time, offering more flexibility in colour grading and post-production.
Another Hasselblad touch is the three new filters: Serenity, Radiance, and Emerald. The filters were calibrated by Hasselblad Ambassador Yin Chao and Hasselblad Masters competition winners Ben Thomas and David Peskens. They were meant to mimic the photographers' unique looks when taking photos using their medium format cameras.
The software will vary depending on the area. China gets Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 sans Google Play Services, while its international version gets OxygenOS 12 on top of the Android 12-based ColorOS with Google Play Services.
The OnePlus 10 Pro is launching in China on January 13 in Volcanic Black and Emerald Forest, with a starting price of ¥4,699 (around CA$930 converted) for the 8GB + 128GB variant.
