A day after Neil Young's music was pulled from Spotify, SiriusXM announced it's bringing back Neil Young Radio to its lineup and reintroduced the artist's music catalogue on both its satellite and streaming music channel. It will be available on SiriusXM's Depp Tracks (channel 27) for seven days and a month of streaming on the SXM App.

You can expect the channel to feature "rarities and exclusives, every new song from his latest album Barn, epic hits and fan favourites from his solo music, collaborations with Buffalo Springfield and Crosby Stills Nash & Young." According to SiriusXM's press release, the musician will also share "insights behind writing and recording the music."

There will also be weekly concert broadcasts from Young's vaults, celebrity guest DJs, and a Barn track-by-track album special with Young sharing stories about each song on the album. As Neil said, "I want to introduce you to some stuff that no one's ever heard before." Neil Young Radio was launched for a limited-run initially in December 2021.

Young heavily criticized Spotify for allowing Joe Rogan, who hosts the Spotify-exclusive podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, to continue on the platform despite what the artist called "misinformation" surrounding COVID-19 vaccines on his podcast. He set an ultimatum through a published (then took down) letter, saying the company should deal with the vaccine misinformation from Rogan's podcast or lose his music. Spotify opted for the latter and has begun removing his music from the service.
