Microsoft has upgraded its Surface Pro with new CPU options and colours for the Surface Pro 9 series. Its most significant change is the Intel- and ARM-powered Surface Pros are now part of this one product line. The ARM-based version runs on the latest SQ 3 chip, a collaboration between Microsoft and Qualcomm. This Surface Pro 9 option finally gets 5G support through this variant.

If you don't need that kind of mobile connectivity, the Intel version is Wi-Fi only. And this Surface Pro 9 option runs on the latest 12th-generation Intel processors. Microsoft updates the available colours with platinum, graphite, sapphire, and forest options. There's also a limited-edition special blue floral patterned one made in collaboration with Liberty that covers the tablet and the keyboard.

While most of the other specs are similar to its predecessors, it does get a 19-hour battery life rating this time. The Microsoft Surface Pro 9's retail price starts at $1,410, with its release date on October 25.
