Xbox Canada just announced an exciting new collaboration with OVO SOUND artist, Roy Woods to design an exclusive capsule collection that's inspired by Woods' upcoming album, Mixed Emotions, will include a custom Xbox Series S, Xbox Wireless Controller and apparel.

With the Xbox Series S serving as a blank canvas, The Canadian singer, rapper and songwriter who's signed to OVO Sound, the record label co-founded by Drake, takes his fans on the journey of his creative process, transforming Xbox’s smallest, sleekest console yet into a one-of-a-kind work of art. In the initial design stages, Woods looked to cover art from his favourite artists before ultimately landing on a design that was inspired by his upcoming album.

“Xbox was my very first console. Fourteen years ago, from when I first started playing on it, I would have never expected the opportunity to create my very own capsule collection with the brand,” said Woods. “As a long-time Xbox fan and player, the Xbox Series S gave me the perfect amount of space to tell my story and bring my creative visions and passions to life. I chose the ‘pop art-esque’ design you see on the console as I felt that it could speak more to others and tell the story that I wanted to tell my fans.”

Beginning today at 2:30 p.m. ET, Xbox and Roy Woods fans are encouraged to visit @XboxCanada’s Instagram page and leave questions for Roy on his upcoming capsule collection. Answers will be revealed during an ‘ask-me-anything’ event on the brand’s Instagram page on Friday, May 13th at 2:00 p.m. ET.

Loyal Xbox and Roy Woods fans also have a chance to win the artist’s special capsule collection or limited-edition hoodies through a one-day social media contest, held at @XboxCanada’s Twitter page.
