The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) returns to welcome visitors in full glory this year. From August 19 to September 5, the end of summer tradition brings all the fun, entertainment and food for all ages. Also returning this year is the popular Gaming Garage powered by AMD and Innovation Garage and it looks like it's bigger and better than ever before! What to expect at this 4th annual gaming hub?
Located in the Enercare Centre just steps inside the Princes' Gate visitors will have the opportunity to experience everything from esports and pinball tournaments to Dungeons and Dragons, board games, virtual reality, Video Game Dance Floor, and so much more.
There will also be Robots at the CNE's First Robotics Competition where teams can registered to compete. FIRST Robotics Competition teams past, present, and future, are invited to play in the first Ontario Off-Season event for the 2021-2022 Rapid React season. Whether you officially registered in the 2021/22 FRC season or not, this event is open to teams of high school participants in grades 9-12.
Think you're a pretty good gamer? Don’t miss your chance to compete in the CNE's returning Fortnite and Valorant tournaments, and the new Halo Infinite tournament during the first weekend of the CNE, August 19 – 21. In the final weekend, September 3 and 5, registered players will have another chance to battle it out for cash prizes in the League of Legends and Fall Guys competitions. Innovative Garage will host an Emerging Innovators Pitching Competition. Prize money available to be won! Categories include Food Tech and Urban Agriculture, Home/Everyday Living and Leisure, Women Entrepreneurs, Health and Wellness.
