Samsung continues its tradition of releasing special edition versions of its phones. This time, the premium Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra gets a new look thanks to a partnership with BMW M. The phone will get a limited-edition version design paying homage to the German automaker's E30-generation BMW M3. Samsung plans to release only 1,000 units starting February 17 in South Korea for KRW 1,727,000 (around CA$1,820) through SK Telecom.
As expected with special edition phones, it will come with extra accessories and features to distinguish it from the standard model. It gets a hard case with the BMW badge, M logo, and kidney grille graphics on the rear. These S23 Ultras will also come with a BMW M car clock, a vehicle sunshade clip, an air pump, a book chronicling the history of the M brand, and a key ring that can fit with one of the seven detachable badges. The software also gets tweaks with special wallpapers and themes.
Each device will come with the BMW lifestyle app, BMW Vantage. It also gives you access to a BMW Driving Center "Starter Pack Voucher" that will give you driving tips from a professional instructor and offer access to BMW experiences and events.
