The first OnePlus Pad is arriving soon, so the company deemed it alright to start talking about its tablet now. It packs in some decent specs that it might be considered a worthy buy, but we'd have to find out what the price point is first to make that statement true. It gets an 11.6-inch display with an unusual 7:5 aspect ratio paired with a speedy 144Hz refresh rate. It might be easier to grip with its "2.5D" edge and a central camera hump that you'll less likely cover with your fingers. For entertainment lovers, this tablet gets Dolby Atmos audio.
The OnePlus Pad runs on MediaTek's Dimensity 9000 chip paired with up to 12GB of RAM. There's no mention of storage options yet. It gets a reasonable 9,510mAh battery that can supposedly offer up to 14.5 hours of video playback. You might burn through that battery when you game on this slate, but it supports 67W SuperVOOC fast charging, which can recharge it in around 80 minutes.
The OnePlus Pad will ship with a pen called the Stylo and a magnetic keyboard. As expected, it offers integration with OnePlus phones. You can easily use a OnePlus handset as a cellular data hotspot for the tablet. OnePlus hasn't shared release dates and pricing yet, but it will be available in the "coming weeks."
