Google's next flagship phone, the Pixel 8 Pro, has been spotted in the wild, revealing its new design and features. The leaked photos show the phone's triple-camera setup, flat display, and prototype stickers. The photos were posted to Reddit by a user who claimed to have received the phone from Google's device team for testing. The original post was quickly deleted, but not before droidlife managed to save the images and share them online.

The Pixel 8 Pro looks similar to its predecessors but with some noticeable differences. The most obvious one is the new camera module, which now houses all three lenses in a single glass oval. The camera system is rumoured to include a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 64-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 48-megapixel 5x telephoto sensor. There is also a new sensor under the flash that can measure the user's body temperature, according to previous leaks.

The back of the phone also has several stickers indicating that it is a prototype test unit. One of them reveals the codename "Zuma," which is reportedly associated with Google's Tensor G3 processor. The Tensor G3 is expected to power both the Pixel 8 and the Pixel 8 Pro, and it is Google's third-generation custom chip for its phones.

The front of the phone shows the fastboot screen, which confirms some of the specifications of the device. The phone has 12GB of Samsung LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also has a codename of "Husky," which matches previous reports about the Pixel 8 Pro. The fastboot screen also mentions "ripcurrent," which could be related to the chipset or the bootloader.

Another change that can be seen from the front photo is the flat display. Unlike the Pixel 7 Pro, which had a curved screen, the Pixel 8 Pro seems to have opted for a flat panel. This could be a welcome change for some users who prefer a more traditional design.

The Pixel 8 Pro is expected to launch later this year, along with the Pixel 8 and possibly other devices from Google. The leaked photos give us a good idea of what to expect from Google's next flagship phone, but they are not final or official. The design and features could still change before the launch, so we will have to wait for more information from Google or other sources. Until then, we can only hope that the Pixel 8 Pro will live up to its hype and deliver a great Android experience.
