Diablo 3 is getting a new single-player mode in its next major update. While many fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Diablo 4, the latest entry in the franchise, Diablo 3 still has some surprises in store for its loyal players.
The new single-player mode is called Solo Self-Found and it will be available on the Diablo 3 test server starting August 15. In this mode, players can enjoy the game’s Adventure Mode and Campaign without multiplayer features. The only exception is the Rebirth feature, which allows players to reset their characters and start over. Solo Self-Found mode will also have its own leaderboard, where players can compete with others who play the same way.
The developers announced the new mode on the official Diablo 3 website, where they said that it was a highly requested feature by the community. They also revealed some other changes that will come with the update, such as balance adjustments for some classes, bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and the long-awaited Paragon Cap. The update will also introduce the theme for Season 29, which will be the final season of Diablo 3. The theme is called “Visions of Enmity,” and it will offer new rewards and challenges for players.
Diablo 3 Season 29 will end on the test server on August 29, meaning it will probably start on the live servers in early September. Diablo 3 is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
