Garmin also unveiled the Lily 2 at CES 2024. This US$249.99 (around CA$335) hybrid smartwatch is an upgrade to its petite Lily hybrid analog smartwatch. The Lily 2 retains the original design but adds sleep scores, dance fitness activities, and Garmin Pay.

The Lily smartwatch debuted in 2021 as a women-focused watch with a hidden OLED display and patterned lenses. It also had the smallest case size for a smartwatch at 34mm. However, it compromised on interface, features, and battery life.

The Lily 2, which has a more premium Classic variant starting at US$279.99 (~$CA375), is slightly bigger at 35mm but still sleek. It has new colours and patterns on the lenses and a standard lug for easier strap swapping. The Classic version is the one that supports contactless payments via Garmin Pay, which the original lacked.

The Lily 2 series has improved sleep tracking with the newer Sleep Score metric, unlike more basic sleep tracking in its predecessor. And some of the new dance fitness styles include Afrobeat, Bollywood, EDM, hip-hop, and Zumba. The battery life is still estimated at five days, but that might be different when tested.
