If you've been waiting for more Dune, the six-episode spinoff series is coming soon. A new trailer for Dune: Prophecy dropped during the opening day of the New York Comic Con, giving us a glimpse of the prequel to the Denis Villeneuve films.

Dune: Prophecy will premiere on HBO at 9 PM on November 17. In Canada, it will stream on Crave. Each episode will come out on Sundays following the TV broadcast.

This prequel series is based on the Sisterhood of Dune novel by Kevin J. Anderson and Brian Herbert, the son of Dune creator and science fiction writer Frank Herbert. The series takes place 10,000 years before the rise of Paul Atreides.

It follows the story of two Harkonnen sisters, Valya and Tula (played by Emily Watson and Olivia Williams), who create the sisterhood that will inevitably become the Bene Gesserit, the social, spiritual, and political order of powerful women seeking to control the universe.
