We've already heard rumours that Apple was planning an international launch for its Vision Pro headset. And now we're getting confirmation for at least one location. At the China Development Forum in Beijing, Apple CEO Tim Cook confirmed the company's first spatial computer will launch in China this year. This marks the first specific international launch date announced for the device outside the US.
Cook also emphasized Apple's commitment to China by highlighting their ongoing investment in research and development within the country. His visit to the new Jing'an store in Shanghai earlier this week further underscores this focus.
While Apple has stated that Vision Pro will see additional international launches in 2024, specific dates and locations remain undisclosed. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously predicted an international launch before Apple's WWDC in early June.
