Reliable leaker Ice Universe claims Samsung will retain the 4,400mAh battery from the Z Fold3, 4, and 5. This is a slight downgrade from the Z Fold2's 4,500mAh battery.
However, there's a silver lining. Despite the similar battery size, the Z Fold5 offered a significant improvement over the Z Fold4, which is likely due to software optimizations and the more power-efficient Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The rumoured Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the Z Fold6 promises even better efficiency, potentially leading to improved battery life despite the unchanged capacity. While real-world testing is necessary for a definitive verdict, we're cautiously optimistic.
The one area that might remain underwhelming is charging speed. Rumours suggest the Z Fold6 will retain the 25W charging speed of its predecessors, which feels slow for a premium phone.
