A decade after the beloved instax Wide 300, Fujifilm is back with its successor, the instax Wide 400. This update boasts a fresh, modern design with a gorgeous sage green color option.
The instax Wide 400 captures the essence of instant photography with a twist. It shoots on instax Wide film, producing double-wide prints compared to the mini format. Each credit card-sized print (4.25 x 3.34 inches) develops in under two minutes, ready to share and treasure.
Despite being Fujifilm's biggest instant camera, the instax Wide 400 is surprisingly lightweight at 21.72 ounces. While heavier than the instax mini 99, it remains comfortable to hold.

The instax Wide 400 introduces a self-timer with settings from two to 10 seconds, perfect for group shots and tripod use. A unique strap with adjustable feet lets you prop the camera at two different angles for creative framing, eliminating the need for a tripod in many situations.
This instax camera inherits the well-regarded 95mm focal length and close-up lens attachment from its predecessor, allowing macro shots as close as 40cm. It also retains the landscape mode for capturing expansive scenes. However, there's no manual exposure control or trendy features like double exposure mode.
The Fujifilm instax Wide 400 hits shelves on July 12 for $199.99 in Canada, offering a compelling option for photographers seeking larger instant prints with a focus on simplicity and fun. It launches alongside the instax mini LiPlay.
