First announced in May, the Hisense CanvasTV redefines the concept of a television. It is reminiscent of Samsung's popular The Frame TV. Its 4K QLED screen comes housed in a sleek wooden teak frame (with walnut and all-white options sold separately), making it look like a genuine piece of art. When not actively watching TV, the CanvasTV can display a curated collection of Renaissance, modern, or abstract paintings in "Art Mode." You can even showcase your own photos and artwork! To top it off, a motion sensor automatically turns off the TV when no one's around, saving energy.
While this isn't the only TV designed to blend into your decor, Hisense offers a significant price advantage. Compared to Samsung's The Frame, the 65-inch CanvasTV is a cool $700 USD (~$964 CAD) cheaper, with the upcoming 55-inch model expected to sell for $999 USD (~$1,376 CAD).
