We're expecting new iPhones to drop anytime now and it looks like that Apple event is coming soon. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple is gearing up for a major product launch on September 10. This event will likely introduce the iPhone 16 lineup, Apple Watch Series 10, and two new AirPods models.

The iPhone 16 series is expected to feature larger displays on the Pro models (from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches on the Pro and from 6.7 inches to 6.9 inches on the Pro Max), a dedicated camera button, and new AI features in iOS 18.1. While major hardware changes might not arrive until next year, the iPhone 16 will offer a significant upgrade over its predecessor.

The Apple Watch Series 10 is rumoured to have a thinner design and larger screen. Meanwhile, the AirPods lineup will reportedly expand with two new models, combining elements of the third generation and AirPods Pro. The upgraded mid-tier pair is expected to introduce active noise cancellation to the regular AirPods line.

While Apple typically doesn't launch new Macs alongside iPhones, Gurman has updates about Apple's M4 chips. First seen in the latest iPad Pro, they are set to make their way into new Macs.

Developer logs suggest four different versions of the M4 chip in testing, with varying GPU and CPU configurations. Three variants feature the same 10-core CPU setup from the iPad pro with a 10-core GPU, while the fourth option will supposedly feature eight cores evenly split between high performance and efficiency. All of them will supposedly have either 16GB or 32GB of memory. Apple's possible introduction of local AI models might also lead to the discontinuation of 8GB RAM options.
