Apple has officially announced its upcoming "Glowtime" event, scheduled for September 9th, 2024, at 1 PM ET / 10 AM PT. The highly anticipated event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park.
As expected, the iPhone 16 lineup will be a major focus of the event. The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus are rumoured to feature a significant design change with a vertically aligned camera system on the back, a departure from the horizontal arrangement seen in previous models.
The iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max are expected to maintain the familiar three-camera setup but could boast larger screens and a new bronze colour option.
All four iPhone 16 models are anticipated to include the Action Button, a popular feature introduced with the iPhone 15 Pro line. Additionally, Apple may unveil a dedicated photo and video capture button, though its availability across the entire iPhone 16 lineup remains uncertain.
AI and Apple Intelligence will likely play a prominent role in the event as well. While the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max currently have exclusive access to Apple Intelligence, rumours suggest that the entire iPhone 16 lineup will be compatible with this cutting-edge feature.
Beyond the iPhone, Apple is also expected to introduce the Apple Watch Series 10 and two new AirPods models at the event. Stay tuned for more details as we approach the "Glowtime" event.
