Grey Skies: A War of the Worlds Story received terrible reviews on Steam when it launched. It is a stealth-action game based on H.G. Wells' sci-fi novels that launched in November 2020. Players complained about its animations, gameplay, controls, and more, calling it a janky mess.

The developer, Nathan Seedhouse of Steel Arts Software, was away from development for two years due to personal issues. He recently came back and saw the negative feedback.
