A new PlayStation Vita is coming to Japan on October 10th. The new Vita is 15 per cent thinner, 20 per cent lighter and will have a better battery life. Too keep costs down, Sony is replacing the stunning OLED screen with an LCD panel. The new PSVita will also feature a microUSB charging dock (yay!), 1GB of storage and pink, black, blue, grey, lime green, and yellow colour variants. No specifics on hardware and performance nor any indication of North American availability, but December or early 2014 makes sense for this product.

Today’s 13-inch MacBook Air exemplifies a product that’s been constantly refined, improved and updated while maintaining all the best features and elements that have made it arguably one of the best notebooks of all time.
As we get closer to the fifth year anniversary of Apple's App Store this week, a number of premium apps are being given away for free.
These include, but are not limited to, Tiny Wings HD, Traktor DJ (a $20 value!), Superbrothers: Sword and Sorcery EP, Where's my Water, as well as superb Infinity Blade II (usually $7 value!). The generosity is expected to continue this coming week as we get closer to the big day. Let us know if you see any more notable freebies at the app store.
