New Angry Birds medieval game to debut in Canada and Australia first

Rovio has unveiled a teaser for its upcoming Angry Birds games that takes the famous birds to the medieval times. There isn't much revealed in the teaser but the company claims it is "the next epic Angry Birds game." And it will be landing on our shores and Australia first before the other countries. We just have to wait and see what the new game is all about when it makes it debut.

Rovio lets Bad Piggies loose on Android and iOS

In an attempt to follow-up the overwhelming success of Angry Birds, Rovio has released Bad Piggies, which is now available on Android and iOS devices. Focusing on the egg-thieving pigs, the new game relies the pigs' engineering and building skills to create devices and contraptions needed to reach specific goals. Bad Piggies shares some elements with Rovio's second but less successful game Amazing Alex. While it doesn't offer the instant gratification of Angry Birds, it does require other parts of your brain to work and is fun in the puzzle sense.

Angry Birds Space invades the Samsung Galaxy

Samsung Electronics Canada, makers of smartphones, tablets and everything in between announced the availability of the addictive  ‘Angry Birds Space’  with extra leves and perks for Samsung GALAXY users.

 

To support the launch of Angry Birds Space, Rovio has created “Danger Zone” – an exclusive package of 30 challenging levels for  just for GALAXY users. Normally available as an in-app purchase, this package will be made available for free to all Samsung GALAXY users from Samsung Apps and the Google Play for 3 months. This exclusive offer will be available from March 22nd with the launch of Angry Birds Space.

Fire Away! Angry Birds invade RIM's PlayBook

Some great news if you happen to own RIM's PlayBook and love Angry Birds, Rovio has finally made all three of the games (Angry Birds, Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds Seasons) available for the PlayBook. They are expensive in comparison to the versions in other platforms (US $4.99). Angry Birds has been insanely popular, possibly the game of the year on mobile devices (500 million downloads, that's a lot of beat up pigs!). Angry Birds is reportedly fluid and ported perfectly on the PlayBook.
