Apple's 8th Generation iMac joins the ultrathin party

The iconic Apple iMac all-in-one desktop has received a stunning makeover and is now thinner and lighter than ever. Redesigned from the ground up, the new iMac packs high-performance technology into an aluminum and glass enclosure with up to 40 percent less volume than its predecessor and an edge that measures just 5 mm thin. Starting at $1200 for the 21-inch version, the new iMac features third generation quad core Intel i5 processors.

Apple refreshes iMac line, adds a Magic Trackpad

Apple updated its iMac line which now sport Intel's Core i3 processor on the low-end and the Intel Core i5 processor on the 27-inch flagship model. Apple also introduced a multi-touch trackpad which it has dubbed the Magic Trackpad. The $70 trackpad brings multi-touch capability to Apple's iMac and Mac Pro desktop lines.

The 21.5 inch  iMac now starts at $1299 and comes with a 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3 processor and 4 GB of RAM. The new Intel processors offer higher performance, energy efficiency and better 64-Bit support.
