As hinted in rumours, the new Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus aren't sporting the latest A16 Bionic chip. Instead, Apple arms the standard iPhone models with the iPhone 13 Pro's A15 chip. It gets a bit of a performance bump with the extra GPU core it sports compared to the iPhone 13 and iPhone SE launched last year. The Plus also comes in a new 6.7-inch, while the regular iPhone has a 6.1-inch display.
The cameras on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are an ultra-wide and a new 12-megapixel main sensor with improved low-light photography, faster Night Mode, and a new Action Mode for gimbal-like steadiness for videos. Apple also introduces a new 12-megapixel TrueDepth camera with autofocus o the front of the new iPhone 14 phones. Apple integrates a new Photonic Engine to boost the computational photography features of the new iPhones.
