Report claims Apple already started training retail employees for Watch release

The Apple Watch release is upon us and reports have surfaced that Apple retail employees are already being trained to help customers when the wearable comes out. The first wearable from the brand is priced higher than its rivals but they are being positioned as fashion accessories instead of the usual smartwatch. The Sport models start from US$349 and the 18K Watch Edition models can go up to $5,000. Of course, Apple employees would need to be on top of their game to be able to facilitate sales of this new product, particularly the more pricey models.

Apple Stores will reportedly have custom safes for Apple Watches

Apple looks to be taking extra precautions for its first wearable, if reports are to be believed. The Cupertino-based company will reportedly keep the 18-karat gold Apple Watch Edition in specially-installed safes. These will be installed with Apple Watch MagSafe chargers for additional safety. Aside from that, Apple is also getting ready to switch up its stores to add displays for the Apple Watch. This will let customers view the devices themselves as well as different band materials. They would even buy scales to weigh the amount of gold in the Apple Watch Edition if they are to be returned or replaced.
