Toronto - The 2015 Canadian International Auto Show media day kicked off today in anticipation of the weeklong celebration of all things automotive and motoring related. Here are some of the first shots of production cars and prototypes on display at the show that I captured during my early walkaround. Stay tuned for a special story on the Tesla Model S which I was able to test in a closed course earlier today.

Ford F-150 and Subaru Legacy chosen as Canadian Cars of the Year

Announced today at the Canadian International Auto Show, which begins tomorrow and runs until February 22, 2015, the Canadian Utility Car of the Year is the Ford -F150. The Canadian Car of the Year is the Subaru Legacy. Stay tuned for continued reports from the show later on today.

Ford of Canada, Lincoln Motor Company bring innovations to Canadian International Auto Show

Ford of Canada and Lincoln Motor Company will be bringing their latest vehicles at the upcoming Canadian International Auto Show. Both companies boast locally built, technology-packed cars that’ll surely appeal to wide range of people.

Ford updated its original crossover utility vehicle with technologies like a hands-free liftgate, auto start-stop technology, and side parking sensors. Meanwhile, Lincoln is bringing in the MKX with its 360-degree camera, pre-collision assist, auto hold, and Revel sound system.
