Gorilla Glass 3 to debut at CES 2013

Gorilla Glass 3 will be stronger, more scratch resistant and more versatile and it will be coming to CES 2013. Gorilla Glass debuted on the original iPhone and has since been used on thousands of smartphones, tablets and even notebooks (remember the HP Spectre?) and HDTV's. The newest version is said to be three times more scratch resistant and features a proprietary "Native Damage Resistance" technology. Corning says that the few scratches that do occur will be invisible to the naked eye. 

Registration for International CES 2013 is now open

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) opens registration for the 2013 International CES, the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow, scheduled January 8-11, 2013, in Las Vegas, Nev.

Registration for the 2013 International CES is free to consumer technology professionals through August 31. A registration fee of $100 will start on September 1, and the fee will increase to $200 on January 2. Attendees and media can register today at CESweb.org.
