New Nintendo 3DS XL offers a number of new enhancements designed to offer the smoothest and most engrossing portable gaming possible. New Nintendo 3DS XL features a wider range of controls with the addition of a C Stick and ZL/ZR buttons, super-stable 3D via face-tracking technology and built-in NFC functionality that allows for communication with amiibo figures.

Nintendo Canada gives a sneak peek for the holiday season

We're just entering the holiday season and pretty soon we'll be making our wishlists. At Nintendo Canada's holiday preview event last night, media were giving a first look at the new games and judging my my 10 year old gamer, the list is going to be long! Among the games that were previewed at the event include...

The highly anticipated Super Smash Bros. (Wii U) is definitely on the "want" list with over 50 new features for this version and a special mode that allows eight players simultaneously get in on the action. But wait...the launch of the game scheduled for November 21st, also coincides with the introduction of the new Amiibo interactive figures.
