Google Now update includes Waze traffic updates, news card update, improved voice commands

Google has started to roll out new features for Google Now service. Engadget listed the availability of Waze traffic updates that emphasizes alerts relevant to your daily commute and an improved news update card that follows topics and people you’ve searched about or decided to follow. The “What to Watch” card includes more TV show and movie suggestions. You get notifications for store pickups; you can repeat reminders; and even get real-time rugby scores. Google Keep update adds time and location reminders

Working hand-in-hand with Google Now, Google Keep can remind you of your tasks and errands at the right place and time with location and time reminders. You just need to click on the new “Remind me” button at the bottom of any note and select the kind of reminder you want to use. It works much like your alarm clock and can be dealt with right away or you can select to snooze a reminder.

Google’s note-taking app also has a new navigation drawer to help you separate your notes from reminders and even switch Google accounts. Adding an existing photo from your Android device is also possible with this latest update. Google Keep is up for download from the Google Play Store and Chrome Web Store or can be viewed through Google Drive.
