iPhone 7 battery case come with headphone jack

We’re seeing another third-party company try to take advantage of the fact that the Apple iPhone 7 doesn’t come with a headphone jack. Actual Innovation is crowdfunding on Indiegogo the Fuze case, a battery case that also comes with a built-in 3.5mm headphone jack. Actual Innovation isn’t the first manufacturer to sell to consumers a way to listen to music while charging on the iPhone 7, Belkin has its own adapter. However, the Fuze does have the bonus of extending the battery life of the new iPhone. There isn’t the actual SRP yet for it but if you pledge US$59, you get yourself a case once shipments are expected to start in December.

Father.io lets you play laser tag anywhere you like with your smartphone

Laser tag’s a lot of fun. But what if we tell you that you can play it anywhere thanks to this new Indiegogo project? Father.io is an augmented reality smartphone game that turns the world into your game board. It makes use of your camera to show you the world overlaid with a floating arm and a gun as well as your health, ammo, and the players around you. It also makes use of GPS to locate your position. For the laser tag aspect, you attach a widget called an Inceptor, an infrared blaster, to your phone. This will help you shoot at other players. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth and fires up to about 50 feet.

Aside from playing the traditional laser tag game, you can also try story mode. With story mode, you’ll be interacting with 12 million points of interest around the world. In this mode, you’ll be in a dystopia where an A.I. gets a virus that turns cybernetic humanoid machines into human killing machines. You can visit real-life places like banks and hospitals to gain points and influence. But there won’t be much use for the Inceptor in story mode; it’ll mostly make use of your GPS. The Early Bird Inceptor pack will cost you around US$20 + shipping and that includes one Inceptor and the free Father.IO app on Google Play or iOS.

SenCbuds will pause music when earbuds get taken out

A new pair of earbuds will make it easier to play or pause music. New Zealand-based Vivnnovation Limited's SenCbuds will automatically play or pause music, depending on whether the buds are in your ear or not. You no longer have to fiddle with your phone or the built-in button that comes with some headphones. These earphones are iOS- and Android-compatible and they come with a roll-up cable clip that also serves as a remote that lets you switch between songs or answer incoming calls through a built-in mic. And if you don't want people to bug you while you listen to music, it has a red LED indicator for that. Of course, you'll have to explain what the LED light means.

In terms of specs, the SenCbuds have 9mm drivers, 98dB sensitivity, 16 ohm impedance, and a 5kHz to 25kHz frequency range. It has a USB-rechargeable battery in the remote that is said to last over two weeks of "regular use" per charge. If the battery dies out before you charge it, the SenCbuds can still work as regular earbuds. Vivnnovation is raising funds to produce SenCbuds over at Indiegogo, if you pledge US$45, you can get a pair. Retail price is set at $70.

Gepeto wants to harness your kids’ imagination with its app that will let them craft animated stories right on the iPad using puppet gestures. You can think of it as a virtual green screen to help your kids get creative. They can make up stories using any 2D or 3D animations and they can control the characters using puppets that mimic their natural play. They are running an IndieGoGo campaign starting today until December 22. You can find out more information here.
