Here's your first look at Marvel's 'Moon Knight'

Marvel's newest anti-hero is coming to Disney+ real soon. And the first trailer for Moon Knight is here. Based on the character of the same name, the new series follows Marc Spector (played by Oscar Isaac), an ex-Marine and CIA agent suffering from a dissociative identity disorder. He finds himself sharing a body with a mild-mannered gift-shop employee Steven Grant and the vicious vigilante Moon Knight, who serves as an avatar for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu.

The trailer focuses more on Steven talking about his insomnia and how he can't tell the difference between his waking life and dreams, especially as he gets glimpses of disturbing visions. There's not much in terms of a plot, but that's expected.

Marvel's 'Eternals' is now on Disney+

Source: Marvel

If you have been waiting for Marvel's Eternals to make its debut on Disney's streaming service, then your wait is over. The Marvel film is now available to stream on the service with no additional cost over your monthly subscription fee. The Eternals got a theatrical-exclusive period that's almost as long as some films before the pandemic. It was in theatres for around 68 days, when the pre-pandemic norm was about 75 to 90 days.

The difference is you'll get to stream it on Disney Plus at the same time as you can buy it online on major digital platforms. Before the online rentals, Blu-ray and DVD releases would get the first home-viewing options after a film's theatrical run. As CNET pointed out, it'll be more than twice as expensive to purchase the Eternals outside of a month's subscription to Disney Plus.

'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One)' drops first trailer

Three years after Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse came out, we get our first glimpse at Miles Morales' (played by Shameik Moore) comeback on the big screen. The first trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) shows Miles' story after saving the multiverse in the first film. Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) drops by looking to hang out with a grounded Miles. Their solution? Say that Spider-Man is hanging out with her instead of Miles.

A quick glimpse at his multiversal travel literally throws Miles into trouble as he's attacked by Spider-Man of 2099 or Miguel O'Hara (Oscar Isaac). In either this film or its second part, we're also expected to see Spider-Woman, a.k.a. Jessica Drew (Issa Rae). For now, we can look forward to Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) hitting theatres on October 7, 2022.

US movie theatre chain partners with Sony to offer 'Spider-Man' NFTs for advance ticket buyers

It looks like NFTs are turning into the new collectible cards. US movie theatre chain AMC partners with Sony Pictures to give away 86,000 NFTs to Stubs Premiere, A-List, and Investor Connect members who buy or reserve tickets for Spider-Man: No Way Home screenings on December 16.

To qualify, buyers need to purchase their tickets through the AMC Theatres' website or mobile app when pre-orders launch on November 29. They will receive their code on December 22 and have until March 1, 2022, to redeem one of the 100 designs through the more eco-friendly Wax blockchain. It isn't guaranteed that this promo will improve ticket sales, but it might be something we'll see more often.
