Netflix’s ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ series gets international release

Robert Rodriguez’s take on the cult classic From Dusk Till Dawn was released in the US last week on Rodriguez’s El Ray network. International viewers from countries like Canada, The Netherlands, Ireland, UK, and Nordic European territories can exclusively catch the series on Netflix. The 10-episode series will be released on a weekly basis on the streaming service.

Netflix evolves, will show Pokémon movies and TV shows starting March 1

Netflix is adding Pokemon movies and TV shows to its growing lineup of animated shows starting March 1. Included in the exclusive are  Pokémon: Black & White” which is the 14th season of the animated series comprising 48 episodes, which will be available in all Netflix territories.  They are also including the first season of the “Pokémon: Indigo League” series will be available in the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Ireland. That series introduces the world of Pokémon through Ash and his partner Pikachu as Ash strives to become a Pokémon Master.

Netflix has been the one major service that never gave BlackBerry any love. They ignored the PlayBook, even if that doomed tablet had the requisite features to run the streaming service (plus a gorgeous 1024x600  screen and the capability to output video HD video via HDMI-out). With the advent of the BB10 handsets, the Z1, Q10, Z30 and Q5 -Netflix was once more conspicuously missing. Yes, you can get Netflix on a dinky Nintendo 2DS, but still no love for BB10. What's up with that?

Netflix to run final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars in US and Canada

Powerful, Netflix is. Strong it is, with the Lucasfilm force, hrmnn!

The final season of the animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars (The Lost Missions) will premiere exclusively on Netflix in the US and Canada on March 7th. This is the 6th and last season of the show that takes place between the event of  Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Episode II: Revenge of the Sith. The series develops and explores the lore and characters of the Star Wars expanded universe as well as sells a boatload of toys, video games and knick knacks.
